Kaldewei announces new UK Distribution Agreement

St. Ives, May 2011. With effect from 1st June 2011, Cooper Callas, one of the UK’s largest independent kitchen and bathroom distributors, will become the latest partner to join forces with Kaldewei as part of its nationwide distribution strategy.

Kaldewei already works with four leading distributors, including Robert Lee, who are each able to uphold the exacting standards expected of a prestigious brand and deliver excellent levels of customer service. Established in 1875, Cooper Callas has an exemplary track record and with distribution centres in Newton Abbot, Bicester, Leeds and Glasgow offers fast delivery times to over 95% of the UK population. Already representing many of Europe’s leading quality bathroom manufacturers, Cooper Callas offers Kaldewei a strong brand fit.

The new partnership underlines a continuation of the Kaldewei UK strategy to improve customer service, reduce delivery lead times and ensure that consumers have minimal distances to travel in order to view and buy from Kaldewei’s design-led portfolio of over 300 baths and shower trays crafted from beautiful and durable 3.5mm steel enamel.

Triton Launches New Aspirante Collection

For customers who want an electric shower that will make a statement at the heart of the bathroom but without a large price tag, Triton’s six new Aspirante models open up the electric sector to give retailers six unique, affordable options unlike anything else on the market.

Giving a very different finish the clean lines and unique curved front of the Aspirante range gives a sophisticated edge which, when combined with the compact size and slim line depth, gives the impression the shower is actually ‘floating’ on the tiles.

The never before seen look is available in six contemporary colour ways, including a premium natural matt finish on the Riviera Sand and Black Pearl models to popular high-gloss Black and White and industrial, metallic Gun Metal and Brushed Steel finishes, to inspire the most demanding customers. A chrome riser rail and rub-clean five-spray showerhead completes the eye-catching look.

Suitable for new and refurbishment projects, all models are available in 8.5kW and 9.5kW to accommodate existing wiring. For installation flexibility a reversible (swivel) water inlet means existing pipe work can be used from left or right so that the showers can even be fitted into awkward or limited spaces.

When it comes to end user comfort, the Aspirante range has many selling points for additional appeal. Sleek, illuminated, soft-touch electronic buttons and one central control mean effortless function. A delayed shutdown sequence flushes out any remaining hot water and means extra safety for the family market and limits the need for future maintenance for installers.

New identity

Cooper Callas are pleased to announce a change in company identity including a new logo and will now be trading under the name Coopers.

This new adopted trading name will be seen on 6 new delivery vehicles and will be updated on the existing fleet in due course.
