Account Coordinator - £TBC + bonus + incentives
Coopers, the largest independently owned Bathroom and Kitchen Distributor in the UK, is currently looking for a Sales Coordinator to work at our head office in Bicester.
The main duties of the role is to develop customer accounts to full potential by making calls and building relationships, ultimately getting them to be calling Cooper's when they have an order to place. As these are customers who already have active accounts they know all about us, have previously placed orders and can begin spending again with us immediately. You will sell products, display items and Cooper's in general.
This is a new role within a developing office where new challenges will present themselves daily so being a problem solver and working on initiative to win business counts for a lot.
The role is internal and within a busy sales office, based on the telephone and considerable use of Microsoft packages and in-house systems is required. You will also support the Sales Order team when the phones get busy, taking calls from customers wanting to place orders, obtain advice on products or any other reason dealt with by a multi-functioning sales office.
With this in mind the successful person would ideally possess a strong telephone manner along with the ability sell themselves and products. Ideally you will be able to identify an opportunity and possess the character and tenacity to convert a prospect into a flourishing account. Knowledge of the bathroom and kitchen industry would be advantageous along with a strong sales background.
